Q2 2024 Android Music & Podcasts Apps Performance in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the Android platform saw significant activity among top music and podcasts applications. Sensor Tower's data showcases the performance of these applications in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Yandex Music, Books & Podcasts experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 6M and peaking at 7.8M before dropping to 5M and climbing back to 7.2M by the end of the quarter. Revenue for the app showed growth from $7K to $9.6K, with a mid-quarter dip to $7.7K. Weekly active users increased from 403K to 439K.

For Spotify: Music and Podcasts, downloads remained relatively steady, beginning at 4.2M, dipping to 3.6M, then rising to 4.4M. Revenue saw a peak of $1.2K in late April but ended the quarter slightly lower at $974. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 399K to 391K over the quarter.
